Enrico Gurioli lives in Bologna. Author  and expert  on maritime communication is working with several newspapers. He was a teacher in communication at the European Centre of Business Studies. Since 1986 takes lessons in Marketing & Communication at the University of Bologna in the Department of Labor's Psychology Faculty of Political Science and seminars at the Technical Center for Trade and various locations in Italy.

Since 1996,  he deals mainly maritime and tourism and is co-author of five books on ports and Italian calls for Giorgio Mondadori. He is curator for Geonext De Agostini-DB on Italian ports. He is working with Bolina, Aqva and World Barca, as author. He worked on the essay  Il lessico nei traffici via mare e storie di finanzieri e contrabbandieri (The lexicon in trafficking by sea and stories of financiers and smugglers) for the General Command of the Financial Police, presented in Italian embassies all over the world.  He is following for the Ministry of Environment and Transport Governments of the Italian and Maltese AREAMEDINIT project for the census of the assets of Industrial Archeology of the Sea and the Mediterranean environmental goods.

He has published by De Agostini Amerigo Vespucci la più bella nave del mondo (Amerigo Vespucci, the most beautiful ship of the World),  book now in its third edition and for the Mursia Longanesi Cattani he wrote Il miglior comandante fra i comandanti migliori (The best of the best commanders of the Italian submarine).

Now, he is working to Medseabook, to the volume on Malta's Grand Harbor.
